This is an all natural product USA made. Mainly helps with smoothing tops of soy wax.
Melted and blended at a recommended 5-10%. It gives smoother tops and better color retention in your candles. 100% natural.
This only treats a small amount of soy wax. You will need to buy multiple bags to treat large quantities. During our testing we did not notice a significant difference when using this modifier. We did note smoother tops. We tested with 464 and 444.
Vegetable based Stearic acid can be made from either animal or vegetable fats. Stearic Acid is often used in candle making to make candles harder in order to prevent slumping; because of this, it is often used in votives and pillars. It is also used to make translucent wax more opaque, increase burn time and retain fragrance. We advise adding 3-6 tablespoons of stearic acid per pound of wax. This will give the candle the right consistency and aid in overall burn time and scent of the candle.
Vybar enhances fragrances & color quality, increases hardness and surface gloss, and also helps reduce air bubbles and mottling. Recommended usage is 1/4 - 1/2 tsp per pound of wax.
For use with waxes that have melting points BELOW 130°F.
