Vegan. Product of Florida USA 🇺🇸. 100% coconut wax/ no additives. We are only able to get a limited supply of this wax. This is NOT a finished candle wax. We recommend adding 10-35% to existing wax to improve performance. Skin safe. If you are building an all natural candle we would start with this wax and add beeswax. Due to this being a virgin organic first run wax most of our clients use this for body products as it can be cost prohibitive in candles.

Hydrogenation is used to increase the melt point of oils. The hydrogenation process of coconut wax is much more in depth than other oils.
The process consists of the addition of hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst to the double (unsaturated) bonds. Thus oleic or linoleic acid (or their acid radicals in glycerides), which are normally liquid at room temperature, can be converted to stearic acid or the acid radical by the addition of hydrogen.
