The nuts of the shorea stenoptera seed contain fat that is sustainably harvested, expeller(cold) pressed, and then refined and deodorized for cosmetic use. The end product is similar to cocoa butter with a higher melting point. Illipe is ideal for making personal care products like body butter, creams, lotions, skincare, lip care products, balms, and hair care products like conditioners. It helps stabilize emulsions due to the uniform triglyceride composition and has emollient properties making it a very stable replacement for many synthetic emolliency enhancers.
